20th - Christmas Greeting's from BSU.
On behalf of all Britannia Staff Union Officers, Reps and Staff, I would like to take this opportunity to wish all of our members and colleagues a very happy Christmas and New Year.
I'm sure we'd all agree that 2006 has been an extremely busy and successful year for Britannia. This level of success wouldn't have been possible without the hard work and dedication from our members and colleagues and for this you should all be proud of your achievements this year.
As you may have seen on Britnet recently BSU is offering a bumper Christmas lottery draw for members as a sign of our support for the fantastic achievements made by our members and colleagues this year, and to celebrate our 30th Anniversary of Independence.
Back by popular demand, we're in the process of distributing our 2007 calendars to members. These should be hitting your desks throughout the next week. If you haven't received yours by Friday 5th January 2007 please let us know and we'll get another one to you.
We are also in the final throes of arranging the latest edition of the 'BSU newslink' newsletter. There's information on policies, a day in the life of a rep, news updates etc...and of course another photo of our beloved Chairman!
Our printers are working hard to get these ready for distribution asap, and they'll be with you soon. We're still looking for suggestions for future editions of the newsletter so put your thinking caps on and email us on staff.union@britannia.co.uk with your ideas.

16th - It's a special Christmas for bsu members!
You may have seen on Britnet about the bigger monthly lottery draw that starts in November....Well now we've got even more great news!!!
This year, we'll be doing a Bumper Christmas Draw! It's a further celebration of our 30 years of independence and a small gesture to recognise the outstanding efforts of our members through a very busy and successful year for Britannia.
The 10 extra prizes will include a 32" LCD TV, DVD Camcorder, Selection of Wines, Digital Camera, Satellite Navigation System and a Laptop PC!! All this is on top of the 10 great cash prizes of up to £750!!!
To be in with a chance of unwrapping one of these great prizes, make sure that we have received your lottery application by 6th December 2006 . Remember, you can have up to 5 numbers each month at just £1 per number.

The Staff Union will shortly be commencing the annual pay negotiations, on your behalf, with a view to any settlement being distributed in January 2007. Have your say here.
